The standard TNT rates are not set at a level which provides for compensation for loss and damage, but there are optional insurance covers available. These options allow you to set your TNT account up so that insurance is automatically added to every consignment.

Alternatively, UBT can also offer Marine and Freight insurance to cover any relevant shipments as an additional option on your existing Business Insurance Policy. Our trusted Insurance Broker, JLT, offers very competitive quotations for Marine and Freight Insurance which covers a broad variety of risks. This comprehensive insurance coverage includes:

  • Sending of overseas subsidiaries
  • Traveller’s samplers (up to $10,000 per event)
